"My dog hasn't stayed here but I just attended the open house and I'm so impressed with the facility, staff, and philosophy of this place. The boarding rooms (not cages) look incredibly comfortable, with beds, rugs, "Dog TV", toys, and a webcam. They get plenty of bathroom breaks, play times, a tuck in at night, and can receive special services like medication for no extra charge.The outside area is spacious, hygienic (with a special absorbent and cleanable "pup grass"), and has fun toys and obstacles to play on.The grooming facility seems calming and capable of handling any sized dog.The training and day care area has ramps and plenty of room to run around.All of the staff are pleasant, passionate, and professionally trained. They have a veterinary technical expert on staff who advocates for a "Fear Free" approach to working with animals so that their comfort is valued.The prices are reasonable and I've already received a generous coupon.Wow I kind of wish I was a dog so I could hang out here! It looks like so much fun and so comfy too. I'll be bringing my dog by sometime soon!What an amazing facility! Lafayette is lucky to have you! Thanks for caring about our pets so much. "I don't even know where to begin. This is the best 4th of July my dog has had since he was a pup. It's the first year I didn't have to sedate him or worry about his safety. I could check on him via the 24 hour webcam. I thought he looked a little stressed out and sent a message on Facebook, and I got an immediate response and some assurances to not worry -that what my dog was experiencing was completely normal for his first overnight visit. And they were right, he calmed down in no time and there was absolutely nothing to be worried about! He was in the best place he could be this weekend!The owner and the staff at the Pooch Palace treat the dogs with such care, as though they were their own dogs. If you're looking for the best place in Lafayette to look after your pets-looks no more-check out the Pooch Palace! No doubt you'll be as impressed as I am!!"

"I would have preferred not to but we had to board our dog for a over a week. It was a hard decision. Not only was it our first time ever leaving our dog overnight in a kennel but because it was for such a long period of time I was even more nervous. Pooch Palace was nothing but excellent. They were so good with our dog. If I had any questions or concerns during her stay I contacted them and they got back to me in good time. We had to make some last minute changes for the pick up time and other things during the stay and they easily changed with no issues at all. The camera in the room so we could see what she was doing while we were away was awesome. I highly recommend Pooch Place. We used the hotel and daycare. "I knew I was going to have to bored my 2 yr old chow lady while going on vacation. I was worried about boarding her since some places do not treat her bread very kindly. So when pooch palace had open house I went and checked it out. Was very impressed with what I was seeing and hearing. So I took advantage of their first visit half day free offer for their doggy daycare. My dog loved it. She came home tired but a very happy puppy. Since then I have taken her for half day play dates several times.. While today is the first time she will be staying there over night I have no worries. I know she will be well looked after."

"We went to the open house today and are so impressed! It's an amazing place with super friendly staff. I can't wait to board my dog here. We already registered to board him and you can see them and talk to them through their stay! It's incredible, I love it!"

"Awesome facility with no cages!!! The over night rooms are huge and include a TV(tuned to dog tv), Webcam, and bed. Outside area is great because it has turf that is safe for dogs and allows water to go through so the pups don't get muddy. Trained and knowledgeable staff, you can feel safe with your pup coming here."

"Our doodle attended daycare and did not want to leave. As a pet owner who is very critical of where my dog spends time away from me, I can say I'm not just happy that he loves being at Pooch Palace, but relieved to know he is taken care of and watched after. Lou will be a regular for sure."

"Pooch Palace Resort & Training Center is the best upscale place I have ever seen! The staff treats our pets like they are their own. It has the biggest daycare around, giving all the dogs enough room to make friends and play. The prices are amazing!! I can leave my dog in a spacious, upscale resort and not stress about money"

"Such a cool place! We brought our Georgia in for the Life Skills training, and Hailey was incredibly helpful. She encouraged our pup and us! We would definitely board our pups here, and we're going to continue training with Hailey for sure!"

"We had to leave our 1 year old Golden Retriever, Reggie here for 10 days while we were on vacation and were so nervous to be away from him for that long. Pooch Palace loved him far beyond what we could have ever asked. The stuff members were actually emotional when we came to pick him up! It was so sweet and every dog owners dream for when they pick up their fur baby! Thank you Pooch Palace for spoiling Reggie with so much fun and love! Sounds like we weren't the only ones who got the vacation- but Reggie too!"

"Love this place!! Our dog Nikko went to the daycare yesterday and loved it! We are keeping him there for the weekend while we go on vacation and for once I know I won't have to worry while he is boarded! Never meet such a great group of people to care for your pet while your away and I love that we can check in on him and even talk to him while he is in his room! "The staff at pooch palace was absolutely amazing with my 2 fur babies! My husky can be kind of skittish and most people don't like my pit bull because of his size and breed. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our pups were loved and cared for! It's such a relief knowing that your dogs are in great hands while you're away! Bron and Pippa will definitely be regulars when we are out of town! Thank you pooch palace!"

"They are the most caring folk for your pets anywhere here in Lafayette. I have a pit and a Shepherd (2 big dogs) grand puppies and they love them here. Always thinking of the pets. The dogs were there and became anxious when they knew someone was in the hallway, so they put a towel over the window to reduce their anxiety. They are awesome!! Really love Erin and Paul and all the others that take care of my grand puppies when we cant be there."

"We had our German Shepard here for the first time for an overnight stay. Very impressed with the staff and how they took care of our pup. This was her first time boarding so I wasn't sure how she would be but the staff really took care of her. We also loved how we could check in on our dog with the webcam in her room. Will definitely have her back soon."

Our dogs have separation anxiety and we do not board them often, but Paul made my pups feel welcome and made us feel comfortable about leaving them in good hands. We watched them on the webcam multiple times and they did amazing! We won't go anywhere else for my dogs!"

"Love, Love, Love this place! It's hard enough to leave your pet, because you never know how they're being cared for. At Pooch Palace I can look in on my guy thru an app and even talk to him if I want. The staff is wonderful, and it's just a real feeling of leaving my dog with family. My dog is a doodle, and getting him groomed is always a nightmare because I don't want him to look like a poodle. This was the first place I've taken him where they listened and got it. He looks beautiful! I really can't say enough good things about Paul and his staff!"

"I recently took both of my dogs here. I was a little nervous because my dogs are not used to being in a "room", they are crate trained, so I thought they would freak out just a little. They did great! The doggie cams were awesome, and the staff was so nice and friendly!!!! My dogs seemed happy the entire time. I even received an email the day after i picked them up with some pictures of the dogs enjoying the outside fun!!! Thanks for being great!!!!"
